The Bexley
BEXLEY
Quiet tailoring, touched with gold.
Bexley began as a traditionally tailored blazer in a fine-scale houndstooth check, woven in warm neutral shades of brown, taupe and cream. From a distance the pattern reads almost solid; up close, its tiny checks give the fabric a beautifully understated texture.
Reimagined by hand, the original blazer structure has been opened through the sides and framed with soft blush trim and coordinating fringe. The tonal treatment keeps Bexley restrained, allowing the precision of the original tailoring to remain part of the design.
At each front point sits an ornate gold-toned concho, bringing a flash of western influence to the otherwise classic fabric. Their warm metal finish plays against the blush fringe without overwhelming the delicate scale of the check.
The back falls into a clean, deep V, finished at its point with a real horn embellishment. Its natural ivory coloration and subtle variation create an organic focal point against the tailored fabric, giving the back a detail that feels both unexpected and beautifully primitive.
Bexley is an exercise in restraint: traditional menswear tailoring softened by fringe, warm gold and natural horn.
Made from an existing garment and thoughtfully transformed by hand, Bexley carries traces of what she was before while becoming something entirely her own.
One of one. There will never be another Bexley exactly like her.
