The Bramble

Wild at the edges and rooted in romance.

The Bramble began as an existing floral blazer, transformed by hand into a one of one statement piece. Its tapestry like fabric is woven in deep plum, rust, wine and earthy brown, with a softly timeworn floral pattern that feels as though it belongs to another era.

Rich chocolate fringe sweeps from the shoulders into a dramatic point across the back, bordered in ornate antique cream trim. Along the front and at the back point, strands of amber toned beads and teardrop charms catch the light and move with every step.

At the waist, sculptural red and black fixtures add an unexpected western edge, while the back is finished with a carved button detail nestled at the meeting point of the fringe.

Romantic without being delicate. Western without being literal. Bramble was made for the person who  wears something with a story.

Created from an existing garment and transformed by hand, no two Howdy Sh’awl pieces will ever be exactly alike.
