The Morrow

Dressed in charcoal, bound for the West.

Morrow begins with a charcoal gray pinstripe blazer, its sharp tailoring and fine linear pattern giving the piece a darker, more restrained foundation than the others in the collection.

The silhouette is transformed with a dramatic 18 inch black fringe, falling from the shoulders into long sweeping points that exaggerate every movement. Along the edge, textured cream trim is punctuated with small wine toned floral details, bringing a softer, almost antique quality against the severity of the charcoal blazer and black fringe.

At the front points, silver toned conchos with turquoise colored centers add a distinctly Western finish. A coordinating silver toned concho at the back completes the piece, allowing the metalwork to carry through the design from front to back.

Morrow feels a little moodier than the rest of the collection: tailored menswear, old Western ornamentation and unapologetically dramatic movement all in one piece.

Made from an existing garment and thoughtfully transformed by hand, Morrow carries traces of what she was before while becoming something entirely her own.
