The Noisette

Softly decadent, a little wild and made to move.

The Noisette began as a chocolate brown textured blazer, transformed by hand into a one of one statement piece. The original fabric has a rich tonal pattern that shifts subtly in the light, giving the deep brown base beautiful dimension.

Along the front, plush chocolate rabbit fur pom details alternate with clusters of beads, creating an almost jewelry like finish. Champagne fringe falls from ornate cream trim along the edges, adding softness and movement against the darker fabric. Two antiqued silver tone buttons meet at the front for a final western touch.

The back reveals another layer entirely. Cascading pearl fringe follows the sweeping edge, layered over the champagne fringe beneath. At the center, a small pearl concho detail gives way to trailing pieces of delicate vintage lace, intentionally left loose to move with the wearer.

Earthy brown, old pearls, soft fur and faded lace. Noisette feels like something discovered rather than made new.

Created from an existing garment and transformed by hand, no two Howdy Sh’awl pieces will ever be exactly alike.
