Opaline light, faded grandeur.

The Odette began as a softly structured vintage piece with an extraordinary iridescent finish. Depending on the light, the fabric shifts from a dusty mauve and antique rose into the faintest suggestion of olive green, a subtle color change that moves across the surface and is difficult to fully capture in photographs.

The original sculptural ruffled collar frames the neckline, bringing volume and softness against the tailored body. Along the sweeping edges, warm copper trim gives way to delicate cream fringe scattered with amber toned beads and faceted drops. At the front points, hand painted iridescent vintage Czech glass buttons act as anchors, their dark luminous surfaces echoing the changing tones of the fabric.

The back falls into a clean V, allowing the iridescence of the original garment to remain visible. At its point sits a silver patina concho, finished with trailing remnants of pale lace and patterned textile for a softer, timeworn contrast against the sheen of the fabric.

Made from an existing vintage garment and thoughtfully transformed by hand, Odette is a piece that reveals herself differently with every change of light.

One of one. There will never be another Odette exactly like her.

Please note that the iridescent nature of the fabric causes its color to shift depending on lighting and angle. The subtle olive tones are especially difficult to capture in photographs.

Because this piece was created using vintage and repurposed materials, subtle signs of their former lives may remain. These are part of the character and story of the garment rather than flaws.
